SPARX, a latin girl group from Albuquerque New Mexico,
has become a beloved group throughout the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala,
Puerto Rico, Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Spain. These four sisters are a group who,
united, work to win the love of their fans. By constantly being innovative when interpreting songs, and making
their live performances a place where everyone can feel their free spirit, Sparx has
attracted thousands of fans.
Sparx belongs to their public and loves giving them the best they have to offer.
This is why they have entitled their latest CD "Con Mucho Amor," a special dedication to all of their fans.
This latest album, an intoxicating mix of sexy ballads and catchy cumbias,
showcases the quartet's talent. "Con Mucho
Amor" has 10 songs, all of which are original songs written by several talented
writers: Lorenzo Antonio, Tiny Morrie, and Miguel Angel Flores. The songs that
form this new CD are: Cariño Mio, Porque Eres Tu, Muriendo De Amor, 15 Rosas,
Un Vals Para Ti, Poquito A Poco, Como Te Olvido, Nunca Te Olvide, Sembrador De
Espinas, and Olvidalo Amiga. It also
includes 2 bonus videos of the songs "Porque Eres Tu," and "15 Rosas."
The first single is "Porque Eres Tu," a catchy cumbia with a tropical
beat that invites us to dance. "Cariño
Mio" is a very captivating slower tune with a strong accordion line. "We first
heard this song a few years ago when a composer from El Salvador (Miguel Angel
Flores) sent it to us. It was one of those songs that just pulls you in," commented
Rosamaria. "I remember listening to it and wanting to put it into one of our
CD's. It wasn't until this year, that we actually had the opportunity to record
it and release it. It's definitely one of my favorites in the CD," said
Veronica.
A new feature that is included in this release is a bonus DVD of 2
very electrifying and danceable videos. "Porque Eres
Tu" is an upbeat Cumbia with very energetic dance steps. "This has been one of the videos that I've had the most fun
with," said Carolina. "We were all able to really let loose with our dance moves and just have a good time, and I think
it shows in the video."
"15 Rosas" is also a Cumbia, but the music is more funky than the others on the CD.

Kristyna in a very romantic situation when an admirer sends 15 beautiful red roses to her house every day. Kristyna said,
"What girl doesn't like to receive flowers from an admirer? This song
jumped out at me when I heard it, because it is so danceable and different.
I thought, 15 roses instead of a dozen; now that's pretty original, especially
when it signifies
15 days since he met me."
SPARX… Veronica, Rosamaria, Kristyna, and Carolina are four sisters who
began singing together at a very early age. Their career began alongside their
brother Lorenzo Antonio, when they won first place in a children’s festival in Mexico City
called Juguemos a Cantar.
After a very successful childhood career, the group decided to form the Latin
girl group, SPARX.
They have become known for
their ability to harmonize and create great music, recording a variety
of styles of songs such as Corridos, cumbias, Ballads, and Boleros.
This talented group of young ladies, born in Albuquerque,
NM, has
sold over a million CD’s and they have also toured
extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, and South
America. Numerous songs have rocketed into the top 10 on Billboards Latin charts, and they have also reached the charts
of Billboards top selling Latin Albums. SPARX has
also been nominated for Billboard awards, Premio Lo Nuestro a la musica Latina,
and have received awards from Furia Musical.
With this tremendous amount of success, still the most important thing for
them is the support their fans have given them
throughout the years. This support is exactly what prompted SPARX and
LORENZO ANTONIO to create a scholarship called the
Sparx and Lorenzo Antonio Scholarship designed
to aid students who have a dream to go to college, but need financial help.
